How do I collect people's information in a keyword workflow?

You can use the Collect Name & Email step to automatically send a form where people can enter their information.

When you add the step, a URL will be automatically added to your auto-response message. When someone clicks it, they will be taken to a form where they can fill out their first and last name, and email address.ย

After someone fills out the form, their information will be added to their subscriber profile on the Subscribers page, in the list (or lists) that you set your keyword to add new subscribers to.

Keyword workflows like these let you schedule multiple auto-response messages when someone joins through your keyword. There are several other types of steps you can use in a keyword workflow. These are the most commonly used:

Sync info into your church management software

Does your church use Planning Center, Church Community Builder, or Rock RMS? Clearstream can automatically create new profiles with the Push to Planning Center, Push to CCB, and Push to Rock steps.

Sync info into Mailchimp

You can export the data as an Excel/CSV file (Subscribers > Export), or you can sync with Mailchimp. This is helpful if you use Mailchimp to send emails and Clearstream to send text messages.ย
