When automatically retrieving profile data from Church Community Builder, Clearstream looks for profiles with a mobile phone number matching that of the new subscriber.

It's possible that the same phone number is associated with multiple CCB People profiles. When this happens, Clearstream uses a set of rules to prioritize which profile is matched.

If your account syncs "Active" CCB Profiles, the first of the following to return a result is selected:

  1. A Person listed as the Primary Contact for a family

  2. A Person listed as a Spouse

  3. A Person with the family position of Other

  4. A Person listed as a Child

  5. The most recently updated Person

If your account syncs Active and Inactive CCB Profiles, the first of the following to return a result is selected:

  1. An Active Person listed as the Primary Contact for a family

  2. An Active Person listed as a Spouse

  3. An Active Person with the family position of Other

  4. An Active Person listed as a Child

  5. The most recently updated Active Person

  6. An Inactive Person listed as the Primary Contact for a family

  7. An Inactive Person listed as a Spouse

  8. An Inactive Person with the family position of Other

  9. An Inactive Person listed as a Child

  10. The most recently updated Inactive Person

*Please note that Clearstream only checks the Mobile phone field for a match. The Work and Home phone fields are ignored.
