Keyword workflows allow people to text a word to your church's number to join a list and receive a series of automated message you've created. Keyword workflows are great for inviting people to fill out a connect card, get more information, or even register for an event.
β
You can find (or create) your keyword workflows by going to the Keywords page in the left menu.
Automated workflows are similar to keyword workflows, but rather than texting a keyword to join, people will join based on which list they are in. For example, if you wanted to send out a reminder to all your volunteers each week, you could use an automated workflow to send out a reminder to all the subscribers in your volunteer list.
Automated workflows can be set to trigger at a specific time each week. When it does, anyone who has been added to that list since the last trigger will be entered into the workflow. Automated workflows are helpful for following up with new guests who filled out a paper connect card, or sending out event or service reminders.
You can view your automated workflows or create a new one by going to the Messages page in the left menu and scrolling down to Automated Workflows at the bottom of the page.
Notes
You can manually add subscribers to an automated workflow. You cannot manually add subscribers to a keyword workflow.
If you manually add subscribers to an automated workflow, they will receive your first workflow message immediately.
