If you already have a list of people you want to text, you can easily upload it using a CSV or Excel file. This is a great way to transfer contacts from a database or an event sign-up.
Before importing a list, it's important to make sure that you have permission to text everyone on it and that the list is up to date.
How do I format my file?
The header row can include Phone, First, Last, Email, and Tags columns — but only the Phone column is required.
Most phone number formats are accepted (123-456-7890, 1234567890, +12345678900, etc.).
Save it as a CSV file or Excel spreadsheet.

How do I import the file into Clearstream?
Click Subscribers (left menu) > Add Subscribers (far right) > Import CSV/Excel.
Upload your file and share how you received permission to text the numbers on your file.
When will my import be approved?
Most imports are approved automatically, but larger files may require manual review. During business hours (Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm), imports should be approved in about 30 minutes. On weekends or after hours, this may take longer.
