A subaccount is a separate account managed by your main account that has its own inbox, number, subscriber list, and users. Your subaccount's monthly credit allocations, plan, and billing are overseen by your master account.

To see how many subaccounts your plan is allotted, check out our pricing here β€” or reach out to us in the chat for more info about individual subaccount pricing.

Subaccounts are great for giving your ministries (i.e. youth group, women's or men's groups, prayer teams) their own space to communicate with your church members apart from your church's main account.

Create a Subaccount

  1. To create a new subaccount, log in to your main account as an owner or main account admin.

  2. Go the Settings page from the left menu > Subaccounts.

  3. Click Create Subaccount. Then, name your new subaccount.

  4. Choose Unlimited or Fixed Monthly Amount for the subaccount's monthly credit allotment.

Clicking Unlimited credits will allow your subaccount to share your entire monthly allotment with your main account (i.e. 1,250 credits, 2,500 credits, etc.). Alternatively, selecting a Fixed Monthly Amount will allow you to choose how many credits the account receives per month, as well as how many credits the account will immediately receive once you create it.

  5. If your main account uses a short code, you can choose if you want your subaccount to use that as well, or if you want it to have its own local 10-digit number. You can also optionally set a keyword limit.

  6. Click Create Subaccount.

Congratulations β€” your new subaccount is now active! πŸŽ‰

Add Users to Your Subaccount (From the Main Account)

  1. If you're logged in as the main account owner or a main account admin, go to the Subaccounts page in your Settings.

  2. Click Invite Users. Enter your new user's email and click the toggle beside the subaccount(s) you'd like them to access.

  3. Click the dropdown beside the selected subaccount to choose if you want the new user to be an admin or editor.

  4. Click Send Invite.

You can view all of your subaccount's users from your main account by going to the Users page in your Settings. Additionally, you can transfer your account's ownership to another user from this page under Transfer Account.

Add Users to Your Subaccount (From the Subaccount)

  1. If you're logged in as an admin or editor in the new subaccount, go to the Users page in your Settings. Here, you can invite new users and view all your subaccount's current users.

  2. Click Invite Users, then enter the new user's email.

  3. Click the dropdown beside your account to choose if you want the new user to be an admin or editor.

  4. Click Send Invite.
