Polls are a great way to engage your congregation and collect feedback. Maybe you want to survey your members, quiz your youth group, or encourage participation during your sermon. Polls let you easily do that through texting. You can even display the results on your screen at church as they're coming in. πŸ™Œ

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Polls tab on the left menu and click Create Poll.

  2. Type out your Poll question.

  3. Type out each of your options/answers.

  4. Choose if you would like to trigger your Poll with a keyword. If enabled, your members and guests can text the keyword to receive the poll question and then cast their responses by replying with a number. If you'd rather not use wording, you can alternatively send your poll out in a mass text.

  5. Next, you can choose to Share the Results with those who responded. If selected, respondents will automatically receive a link after they respond, so they can see the cumulative results.

  6. By default, your poll will include instructions to "Reply with a number". If you'd like to change this wording to something different, select "custom". If you'd like to delete it altogether, just un-check the box for "Include Instructions".

  7. Click Create Poll to save your Poll.

That's it! You've created your first poll. Next, you can present your poll live or send it out in a message.
