How do I enable the Voice Add-On?

Learn how to enable and update the Voice Add-On in your Clearstream account

The Voice Add-On allows you to forward phone calls to your personal number or send them to voicemail when they call your Clearstream number. It's only $10/month, and that includes your main account and all subaccounts.

Enabling voice

Quick Setup: Log in to your main account > Settings > Voice > Enable Add-On

  1. Go to your Settings, then click Voice under Communication.

  2. On the Voice page, click Enable Add-On and select Enable Voice in the pop-up.


Choosing your voice settings

After you've enabled the add-on, choose what you'd like to happen when someone calls your number. Choosing Forward Calls will forward all incoming calls to the number you enter, while Send to Voicemail will send them to the voicemail where they'll hear your custom greeting.

  1. Choose if you want to forward incoming calls or send them to voicemail.

    If you choose Send to Voicemail, you can click Customize Greeting to create an automated message or record your own. Then, click Save.

  2. That's it, you're all set up!

When people call, you can listen to their voicemails in your inbox or in the call log at the bottom of the Voice page.

Things to note

  • If you use subaccounts, you'll first need to enable the add-on in your main account. You can then choose what happens in each account by going to Settings > Voice (or following the directions above).

  • You can choose to block calls from internet-based numbers and non-subscribers. Just go to Additional Settings at the bottom of the Voice page.
