These are helpful for creating microsite options like "Contact us" that opens your church's email address, or "Talk with our pastor" that prefills your pastor's phone number.
mailto
A mailto link will automatically draft a new email that's prefilled with your church's email address as the recipient. You can use the following format to create your own:
mailto:[email protected]
tel
A tel link will automatically open the phone app with your desired phone number prefilled. Just use the format below.
tel:+12001234567
sms
An sms link creates a new text message to your church's phone number. Use this format:
sms:+12001234567
*To add a prefilled message to your text, for example, "I have a question", use the format: sms:+12001234567?body=I%20have%20a%20question
How do I add these links to my microsite?
Go to Settings, then Microsite.
Scroll down to Menu Items, then click + Add Menu Item.
Select Website in the pop-up window.
Choose your item's title, then paste your link (e.g., mailto:[email protected]).
